Hello, my name is Cecily and I’m a seamstress. I first learned how to sew out of necessity for a class but I quickly fell in love with it. By the end of the class, the professor asked me to work in the costume shop for the theatre department.
I worked there for two years and sewed for a total of seven productions. I have done it all, hemmed clothing, created garments, and even done extensive customizing. I’ve been sewing for a total of four years now. I continue to use my skills at home creating small accessories and hemming for friends and family until now. As a broke college student, I began trying to think of ways to make extra income, thus Sew N So was born!
Sew N So is a multi-service seamstress business and accessories shop. We provide your basic seamstress services like alterations, repairs, and custom clothing. Our not-so-traditional services involve customizing clothing with beadwork, embroidery, painting, and dyeing. We can even recreate designs seen on the internet! The accessories shop has scrunchies, earrings, and tote bags to complete your new outfit! These can items can even be made out of fabric provided for or from our collection of fabrics.
